I sat with this guys cousin tonight at the LSU game. This is the Junior Prospect who committed to Bama this week. She said that she has no doubt that if LSU offers him he is ours, no question. Take it for what it is worth. I feel really good about it after the game. I just do not understand why he would verbal to Bama if his heart is at LSU in his Junior year.

Sounds good there is alot of good prospects that say" If LSU would offer..or show me some interest I would definitely sign" and alot of the times its true. I actually believe it with DJ and the only reason I could see for him to commit was maybe he was pressured or given something and felt like it was the nice thing to do at that point but if we pursue he will be wearing a LSU uni

I can see it happening, but he is in love with Saban and LSU not only has not offered but but isn't really communicating with him for whatever reason.

However, like both of you, could definitely see a switch happening.

TB... do you 'like like' them?

But really, I could see him switching if offered by LSU.

    Opening up recruiting again.

Likes LSU a lot. LSU was his favorite team growing up.

I see him staying at Bama, but it's got to be a bit disconcerting to their staff and fans that he just opened things up again.

    Let's hope bhelm was right.

Damn, I forgot all about that.:hihi: It makes me feel a little better but I still see him at Bama in the end. However, his cousins did say that his heart was with LSU all the way and DJ coming down for a game (possibly spanking Bama in the process) could do wonders.

Not that it matters but nothing has changed over the last 10 months. He has planned on taking visits all along which is why Im not going to get too excited.

I think he is probably the best tackle prospect out there.

DJ Fluker has always liked us, but we've never gone hard after him. That might be changing, but I'm not sold on it.

First, I know this kid's size alone makes him a big recruit, just like Willford. The thought is get him in the weight room for a couple of years and see if he can become a player. So the shape he is in now does not make or dreak his recruitment.

But with that said I saw him play last month in Foley (left after Gustav to stay with wife's family). He is huge, but the coaches took him out of the game on several occassions. The people around me said they did the same thing the week before because he is out of shape and needs to get spelled a couple of times per game.

I dont know if there is truth to him being that out of shape, but he was taken out of the game that I saw either for an injury, equipment malfunction, or because he is not in good shape.

Watching these type of players in highschool is difficult because their size alone allows them to dominate, but this kid is definitely a physical specimen.

By the way his brother is a young kid, 8 or 9 grade and is the second biggest kid on the team. He is atleast 6'3 270ish.
