People here have different takes on this scenario, and it has gotten heated at times. I'll leave the bickering for others, so people can decide for themselves.
This is a similar scenario as to what we saw in 2003. The facts are not identical, but the similarities are indisputable. LSU was #2 in the polls. Oklahoma lost in the Big-12 CG. The AP poll vaulted USC to the #1. The BCS "poll" kept OU at #1. USC got the shaft in the big game and we beat OU. Result: split poll. It could happen again. The possible set-up is there. Let's avoid it. Put OSU in the game. Edit: makes me wonder if the AP will vault OSU over Bama.
