you do know Utah: outscored Bama in the 2nd half as well? more 1st downs? almost double the passing yards? held the ball for damn near entire 4th quarter? more sacks? won turnover battle?
That has to be the most uninspiring trophy presentation in the long proud history of trophy presentations. Hell, we got Purple and Gold tinsel and we were only playing in the damn Peach Bowl. Where were all the "Big 12" chants? Where were the celebrating players? That just plain sucked.
sound beating is a poor choice of words. But 17-10 Bama becomes 24-10 or maybe 27-10 Bama if they are running the ball and not playing desperation offense like they were doing. I'm not taking anything from them. They won. More power to them. But just sayin' that in a round robin of the Top 8 teams, they finish last.
it was a lose/lose situation minus a blowout. it was the big 10. so what they did is kinda like barely beating up their little sister. you get zero credit.
