If he's not a DB or a linbacker, he's just taking up space.

He was hired as the Defensive Line coach. What the hell, he can't do any worse than the previous coach. Hopefully he can actually do something with those guys and turn them into something other than a toilet paper line.

he's one of the best d-line guys in the business.

Had he and Miles not been sort of enemies because of the McKnight/USC/Ole Miss recruiting thing, he would have landed here.

I agree the D-line underperformed so much that it exposed the back 7 all year long. And we supposedly have 2 franchise tag type players as bookend DEs. They surely don't come close to playing like it.

The D-line coach definitely needed to be replaced.

I am almost of the opinion that the Saints use every one of their picks to get some new talent on defense. Plus they need to check with the NFL about giving back that first round draft pick from last year. I think that pick was a major mistake for the franchise.

Man, now we need a new Coach O song. Glad to see he landed a gig in his home state. One of the guys who we tailgate with and are good friends with is his second cousin. I'd much rather see his vehicle covered in saints/lsu garb than house divided lsu/ole miss stickers.
