Miles recruited far better than O has and led LSU to perennial Outback bowls. Guess you are happy with perennial mediocrity but I am not. Top 5-10 classes should come with Top 5-10 rankings... not dropping games to Troy.
You want to believe that O is the next Saban and is going to lead LSU to 7 of the next 10 NC's, go right ahead. Most of us around here know better. Not saying I hate O like Tap does, but I am also not ready to anoint him the next coming of Saban either. And not to piss in your cheerios but E is not going to lead this offense to a SEC championship.

 

Troy Troy Troy you guys are like a broken record. What the hell are you talking about Miles recruited better than O? Are you living on another planet? How can you possible compare 12 years of recruiting by Miles to not even one complete recruiting year by O? May I also remind you Saban lost to UAB in his first year a team where we had twice the talent than UAB did. Is Saban a bad coach Greg? Every now and then anyone can get beat. And there you go being a nay sayer and acting like you have some window into the future. I have no idea if E will be our ultimate answer but I am willing to bet he is. His short stint being thrown into the OC role overnight in 2016 is enough for me to be very optimistic about E.

Man I am not anointing O just giving him his due time whereas you are defeated before the season starts.

 

Saban averages less than 3 L's a season for over a 20+ yr career, and has won more NC's in the last decade than any coach in NCAA history. You tell me.

Brilliant you are comparing Sabans 20+ years of head coaching to O's one full year at LSU, great comparison there Greg. Instead of comparing apples to aircraft carriers let's now compare apples to apples. The great Nick Saban went 8-4 his first year including a loss to UAB. Nick the great went 10-3 his 2nd year and oh by the way with a lot of HIS own recruits by then went 8-5 his 3rd year. Any logical explination for this?

Point is you have no point until O has had 3 to 5 years to see what HE can do with HIS recruits just as Saban had his chance. So far O's first tear was better than Saban's first year. Next

 

By the time O gets 3-5 yrs to recruit and play HIS players, YOU"LL be fucking dead.
O ain't winning a SEC West Championship, a SEC Championship, or a National Championship in your life time old man.
