not really, both lost 4 games. just play more games now. kind of different circumstances anyway. saban was replacing a coach with 2 straight losing seasons. O followed our winningest coach.
Nice try. You are one of the guys who is fantasizes about a new coaching staff even before the season starts. Why dont you just skip the season. To get your idea of a perfect coach you first need to be a perfect fan, well you dont desarve a perfect coach. If O becomes a great coach it will be without your help.
you're calling me a bad fan because I pointed out saban & O both had 4 losses in their first year? I don't like the O hire, but it hardly has anything to do with this post.
What I am saying is I read your other post and it's clear you have already pre judged O after one season as a full time coach, a winning season BTW. A season in which we were very close to winning 10 to 11 games. What I am saying is if you are a Tiger fan do you think it's helpful to not back the winning head coach after only one year? LSU, O and his staff need you now not so much when things are hunky dory. I am saying your attitude sucks.
almost winning 10 games is not winning 10 games & not good enough. getting our ass handed to us by mississippi state & then troy while playing a bad game against syracuse was not fun. the 14 points O's put up against bama in 2 games is not good enough. the notre dame loss showed piss poor coaching ability. who the hell kicks a field goal one the half yard line? unemployed coaches do. as a tiger fan, I expect a lot better than O has put on the field so far. You're more interested in coddling O, than winning football games.
