If Miles was such a great coach, with such a head start, this sounds a lot like bullshit excuses. More like Miles feasted on luck and talent and Saban called him on his unsophisticated approach to the game. Saban and Alabama are not impenetrable regardless of how much you buy into them.
Look, Miles was a good coach. His problem was the game left him. He didn't adapt. You cannot take away what he accomplished, no matter how much you dislike him.
