Hello, I am a Duck fan who analyzes Oregon Football and thought that many of you might be interested in seeing pictures of Oregon’s new formations and plays introduced in the last two games of the year, and in the Spring Game.

    Go to: www.fishduck.com

On the front page you will see two of the four articles about new formations/plays, along with my first video. On this site we would like to encourage trading of information about our teams to enjoy the game better and would invite you to bring over similar analysis, reports, and your thoughts.

While we have a message board to talk with Oregon fans—do come back here to discuss.

    We love our Ducks!

We've seen versions of that "Triple-tailback" formation in the SEC over the last 6 years. Mostly they utilize multiple receivers and run bubble screens from it. It doesn't make a lot of sense to put running backs out there on the ends running deep routes unless they are fabulous receivers who can get open.

LSU has serious cover corners two-deep that can play man defense. I would not be surprised to see LSU play four cornerbacks against such a formation and dare the single tailback to run against the front 7.

PHYSICAL corners. and at least one hybrid safety/linebacker ready to smash or cover.

I watched some of the Oregon spring game yesterday and really saw some similarities with LSU as far as plays and formation goes. I saw many Halfback option plays, not unfamilar to LSU. Many shorter passes as well. But it seemed they ran the ball more then I thought they usually do.
