New Jersey has the same law....or did 5 years ago I’m sure you’ll get a buggy whip manufacturing job protection law soon too.
I was passing through NJ about 5 years ago and I stopped at a gas station. When I started to pump my own gas a guy ran,out and grabbed the pump out of my and a said he had to do it. I thought he just wanted a tip but he was an asshole so I didn't tip him.
Our law dates back to 1951,.. I don't see it as a trend, we'll be ok. You probably won't like these either,.. Oregon invented the bottle deposit law,.. and in the '60s, Oregon's entire coastline was declared community property, there are no private beaches in Oregon and it is illegal to restrict access.
I don't like the whole idea of tipping, got it from my Grandma, as we were leaving the restaurant, she'd hang back and retrieve most of the tip.
I would be afraid to ever eat there again. You don't mess with the people who are handling your food.
Gas Buddy app says from $2.47 to $2.99 in Klamath Falls, OR. Saturday I paid $1.94 at Sam's Club in Baton Rouge.
a couple of years ago gas was cheaper than it's been in a long time, $1.71. What's the lowest you've seen?
