    What a game.

    Oregon State can keep USC out of the Rose Bowl.

    Not sure why you don't go for the TD, the young man just missed an XP.

    19-17 Oregon State

    GW FG with no time left on the clock. They gave the kid another shot. They had the ball 2nd and goal at the 2 1/2 and elected just to kneel it back at the 7 to get the straight angle for the FG.

    Phuck USC.

    Oregon State now has to beat Oregon. The game is at Oregon State.

    Riley is one hell of a coach. I dont understand how USC will be co Pac-10 champs with OSU if they each win out. Just another failure from the Pac-10 commissioner.

    Maybe Im wrong.

    It's that dumb rule with every conference that doesn't have a championship game. Unfortunately, I have to deal with it also, since we are co champions of the Big Ten with OSU, despite the fact that we beat them. Bleh.

    All that matters is USC isn't in the Rose Bowl.

    Now this means we may finally get a USC/SEC matchup possibly.

    (Georgia or Bama) vs USC in the Sugar?

    I'm torn on it actually. I'd love for PSU to play and beat the crap out of USC in the Rose Bowl...instead of Oregon State...who we beat the crap out earlier in the year (sigh).

    So I have to root for Oregon next week against Oregon State...and as entertaining as it would be to have USC sent elsewhere, I can't because it would be painful to have a rematch with OrSU with PSU.

    So let's project, shall we?

    Let's say it's OU vs Florida in the NC.

    The order of rotation this year is Fiesta, Sugar, Orange.

    But before we even get to the rotation, we have to take care of automatic bids being moved to the NC game (i.e., Big 12 and SEC).

    So Fiesta and Sugar get to replace their teams before we start the rotation.

    Fiesta picks Texas (Big 12 replacement selected over USC)
    Sugar picks Bama or Georgia (depending on how they finish out the season)

    On top of that, the Rose automatically get Oregon State and Penn State, so they are done. The Orange takes ACC champ.

    Now back to the rotation.

    The Fiesta, looking back fondly at 2005, easily goes with USC, for a Texas/USC rematch.

    The Sugar selects Utah for a Georgia/Bama vs Utah matchup. The Sugar passes on Ohio State, as they stunk up the joint in 07, saving Ohio State from yet another SEC thumping.

    So here's your scenario:

    NC = Florida vs Oklahoma
    Rose = Oregon State vs Penn State
    Fiesta = Texas vs USC
    Sugar = Bama/Georgia vs Utah
    Fiesta = ACC Champ vs Big East Champ

    If Oregon State loses vs Oregon, who is their replacement to make the BCS? Ohio State.

    NC = Florida vs Oklahoma
    Rose = USC vs Penn State
    Fiesta = Texas vs Ohio State
    Sugar = Bama/Georgia vs Utah
    Fiesta = ACC Champ vs Big East Champ

    Of course, there is the small task of Oklahoma getting past Oklahoma State next week and Missouri in the Big 12 CG.

    Note: Boise State cannot make an at-large, as non-BCS at-large bids are limited to just 1.
