Don't worry about that, just know to mark that game as an L for your Tide. Next yr is the yr of the Tiger, LSU Tigers that is. We are right on pace for our 4 yr cycle, the game is in the Dome, our backyard, and all the chips are going to fall right into place for us. :geaux: :LSU231: :geauxtige
That should put the barn on ice for the next 54 years. How did that Dome thing work out for America's team? Never mind they wear White home uni's too. Sorry, just trying to follow all this logical optimism.
Ok Tusk here ya go.... Jordan Jefferson through his Junior year... 336 completions 578 attempts 3996 yards 28 td's 18 int's 284 rushes 755 yards 9 td's Jason Campbell through his Junior year....... 364 completions 584 attempts 4599 yards 25 td's 17 int's 191 rushes 277 yards and 6 td's. So to be honest, it seems that Jefferson has been more productive running the ball than Campbell was, and pretty much just as effective in the passing game with the exception of passing yards.
Damn, that bullet to Reuben Randle must have left a bad taste in your mouth...Almost sounds like you like Jefferson about as much as most LSU fans do..
The fact that JJ threw it is sorta insult to injury. I honestly think Les will work Mett in with JJ. I think it will be more an in season thing then spring ball. Should work, they do different things really well. We got our own QB race, but get ready, your gonna see the talent level at QB rival the quality of our running backs.
He's just trying to convince himself the LSU won't own the Tide 2 yrs back to back, and win a 3rd MNC before anyone else does. Being our biotch for the past decade can do that to ya. Don't bring up the history of Bama and LSU since the dawn of time, it bears no relevance to the recent past. Especially when we have a coach that proves that his dedication to the team, the players, and the school are more important than the next bigger paycheck. A fear he has to live with, because his coach is probably starting to get his time to leave itch. Tusk, for your sake you better hope that the Tide have a double digit season next yr, and is in contention for the SECC and MNC until the bitter end, because if not you might be getting the I am not going to (fill in the team) speech in January. Then he is on a jet out of town 2 weeks later.
He left.............voluntarily. McCarron and Philip Sims. (no.#1 QB last year) Who is this Ely kid you speak of, I thought he went to the land of the sportsman paradise?
