I'm ready to see this defensive unit, mostly the front four, start clicking like who-da-thunk-it!?! I was more positive about 'em during the Vandy game and it got me thinking....

Who, on defense, needs to step into it this week in order to make a difference?

I'll start and put my hero on the block - Chad Jones.

CJ has been missing a ton of tackles lately and looks like he still isn't playing to his full potential, which I hate. I'm hoping to see a turnaround Saturday and am confident we will.

I actually thought he played well in the Vandy game, not so much against Washington.

This week, I think it's Sheppard and/or Riley. I think the Ragin' Cajuns are gonna test the matchups between TE/RB and the LBs with their fairly good QB.

    1. DL must be able to pressure the quarterback with a four-man rush.

    2. OL must sustain a better pocket and open holes for running backs

    3. QB must attempt the middle of the field more. Everybody throws a few interceptions.

    4. OC has talented receivers in depth who need the ball to do their thing. Time to open it up and see if Jefferson has the stuff.

QB - JJ needs to work on his deep ball and also get Dickson more involved in the passing game

RB - I think Scott at FB and Williams at TB is going to work great for us the rest of the season

WR - I'd like to see Shep get more plays at WR

TE - Get Dickson more involved in the passing game

    OL - Block better plz

    DL - More pass rush

LB - More pass rush, tighter coverage on the TE/FB

CB - Looking good to me so far

S - Form tackle! Don't always try for the kill shot.

K - Jasper is doing a fine job IMO

P - Helton, you gotta pick it up. More hangtime and more length.

i dont hold that against him. it came on him quick and was behind him

after reviewing the game he was the defender i saw most out of place and tackling poorly

I was actually talking about Chad Jones. I think Sheppard did an ok job at Vandy as well. Maybe I missed what you saw. I havent rewatch the game on my DVR yet
