I came across this today and figured I would share. And even though I have Martin on my Ignore List I will turn it off briefly so I can see him squirm. It is shameful to even think people considered this. And what else might we find out in the future. This is what Eisenhower warned the country about when he spoke of military complex. Not this perticular event but things such as this. The founding fathers knew that civilian control of the military was of the highest importance. What I think is that the military must always be under complete control of civilian leadership. Without civilian control would the military at that time conducted terrorist acts aginst Americans ? Who knows. I am pro military but I know that any military has the ability to be mis led to overthow a government. As regard to blackwater. All armed actions in the name of the U.S. must be done by the military or a department of the government where congressional oversight can be maintained.
The sad thing is they are not ignorant. Most people are aware of the truth they just prefer to reject it out of convenience. Your average American is too lazy to apply any thought to what he is told....it's easier to just toe the company line and think: "They hate us for our freedoms!" That's why we are over there killing them....to preserve our "freedoms".
