Are Upon ME!!!!!!! - I was just talking some football with boss, big Aggies Fan, and I told him, deep down you have to be worried about losing the season opener to SFA at home(Scary Situation). Trying to stay pumped up that we are going to roll into Atlanta and get it done! Speaking of scary situations You guys remember this day........... College Football - Troy Trojans/LSU Tigers Box Score Saturday November 15, 2008 - Rivals.com
For some reason, I ain't nervous....yet. As of right now, I think we are going to steam roll into Atlanta with some of the fastest and strongest athletes in the world. We'll go in there and battle with them for a half and then in the second half we'll start to break away with our speed, talent, and depth. Now, with that being said, when I get to my seats in the Georgia Dome right before kickoff.....I may become a little jittery. Happens every time. :thumb:
You Got It!!!.....We have the tools, lets go out there & put them to work! 2010 - Chick fil a Kick Off Game - Tigers..... 2008 - Chick fil a Bowl - Georgia Tech - Tigers Rolled 38-3 2007 - Week 2 - Virgina Tech, Tigers Rolled 48-7 2005 - Peach Bowl - Miami, Tigers Rolled 40-3
i'm not the most optimistic fan in the world but for some reason i like us against UNC. don't expect fireworks and i think the game will be boring if you have no horse in the race, but the tigers will win.
Jittery as well, mostly because this team can go either way - all based on just a couple of things. 1) QB play (include OL); 2) Running game (include OL) If JJ's light turns on, and the OL is improved, this could be a very, very surprising year for LSU fans and the media. If not...then we have to endure a year of teeth gnashing and the calling for the Hat on a platter...
I remember talk like this when we went in to play VT at their place. Yes, I was one of them thinking we would steam roll Tech. It did not happen. Hope it does against NC. I enjoyed watching the games in the Georgia Dome, wish I could be there with y'all.:miles:
I look at that picture and cant imagine you being jittery, you look like you need to ram your head in the side of that truck.
I remember it the other way. Opened at home with VT and people were picking the ranked VT to win. We beat the breaks off of them on National TV. Just sayin, homie.
10 DAYS! Not jitters, just unbelievable anticipation. I truly believe this is the most important opener we have had in a long time. I was in Seattle last year, but I was not nervous for the game because I had seen UW play the year before......granted after they drove down the field and scored on their 1st drive I tightened up a bit. I hope this team is focused and on a mission. A good start will go a long way.
