Wow, as much as i think LeBron should have stayed in Cleveland, maybe this is why he didn't. Dan Gilbert is a :bncry: and classless to boot.

    Totally agree!

Dan Gilbert is a useless piece of crap. Just because LeBron left, he's all of a sudden garbage? But Gilbert wasn't saying this the last 7 years, prolly cause he couldn't speak with LeBron's johnson in his mouth.

Gilbert did absolutely nothing to build a team around Lebron, so i don't blame LeBron at all. And Gilbert now guarantees a title before James gets one. Yeah, ok slappy! You couldn't build a team around LeBron, what makes you think you will with Mo Williams and Porker West.

Just shut up and enjoy your mediocrity for the next decade.

Wouldn't that be Danny Ferry's fault? He brought in both of those before he got fir...er resigned.

I don't blame LBJ for leaving, but I do think his legacy takes a hit if he wins in Miami. After all, he's not 'the man' in Miami, like he would've been on almost any other team. I know every, even Jordan, needs help to win a championship, but none everyone knew who the leaders of those teams were. Who's going to be the leader in Miami - LBJ or D-Wade. Is D-Wade going defer that mantle to Lebron?

LBJ's legacy would have taken a much bigger hit if he had stayed 'loyal' to Cleavland and finished out his career there without winning any championships.

I can't believe Cleavland fans are getting so uppity about LBJ leaving. Its not like LBJ wanted to leave; last week he was still trying to recruit free agents to go to Cleavland.

But, the city of Cleavland is a dump, and its not a surprise that nobody wants to willing go there to play and that was before their owner threw a hissy fit. While the the rest of the East was getting better, he knew he couldn't win with the team mates Cleavland gave him.

So, really, the fans should blame the Cleavland organization for their failure to build a team that could win when it had the best player in the game. Oklahoma City faced a similar situation where it was going to be difficult to land premiere free agents. But, Sam Presti has done a masterful job building a team around Durant that was starting to peak when Durant became a free agent.

If Lebron had the same talent as Durant has in OKC, he's staying in Cleavland.

Is LBJ for LeBronJames, or does his middle name begin with a B? Just wondering. LBJ sounds a bit presidential. :yelwink2:

Agree with Weisguy, don't really get the owner's and public reaction. Clearly he preferred to stay there, if they had done better in FA, and he already gave them 7 years. Talk about showing your true colors of appreciation. LeBron probably is feeling a lot of heat about this decision, but the owners comments probably help solidify it was the right choice.

Not to disagree with you because gilbert is a huge tool, who doesnt know how to run a basketball team. But, he didnt draft lebron maybe he catered to him, however gilbert has only owned the cavs for 5 years. On the other hand what superstar isn't catered to. What upsets me is how all these people have the nerve to say Kobe wouldnt do this or LBJ is just about his ego. I guess they dont remember he refused to play for the hornets when he was drafted and how he talked **** about his own team on camera. Then demanded a trade. Also when he became a free agent he used the clippers against the lakers.
People fail to realize while this is a game for us it is their job and just like us when a better one comes along we/they take it.

Another example how winning will make people forget. Kobe also demanded a trade from the Lakers and had a widely covered alleged rape case but you rarely hear anyone talk about it. I think Kobe was #1 on jersey sales after the case and demands. Lebron will likely be the #1 in jersey sales this year but supposedly the whole world hates him. :)

I heard that 1 Million of his new jersey was sold the day after he announced he was going to Miami. Does Miami have 1 million fans?
