I stopped counting the number of open field tackles that were missed last night. I hope Chavis addresses this week before Miss State.
my uhhh "memory" was a little fuzzy watching the game the only blatant one i remember was a cutrera one, tried to go high instead of watching the guy's waist. something you learn in 4th grade. however, it was nice to see chad jones blow up.
There is a direct correlation between "Luau" and "loss of memory" (ps) tell your friend I'll never think outside the box again !!:hihi:.
Clearly you have not watched any other college football game this year. This is a problem that is evident throughout the country: no one knows how to tackle anymore. Teams only practice against dummies and no longer use live tackling techniques, and players only learn to hit the dummies as hard as they can.
i know what you're saying, but i really don't care about how other team can't tackle i just want my team to. except for the O line, i'm basically happy with the offense knowing that JJ still has a lot of growing to do, the defense has improved but the really simple stuff will add up as the season goes along. i hope they are mistakes that are learned from and not repeated.
There was only one obvious miss tackle that I remember. If you want to complain about something it is all the 3rd and long all these teams easily pickup on LSU. Even though the yardage is going down since the first game... you get the feeling the defense can't get the offense off the field. We'll see... it's a long season to get better.
We were counting last night because the first two games number were so high. I know it was over 10, but we quit sometime in the 3rd quarter.
