One of my favorite moments in TS History happened tonight...

Yes, that was probably the highlight of the night. It was great to see the D respond the way they did. Huge improvement.

ULL was on the half-yard line after the first and goal play. Regardless of the opponent, it was impressive to hold them off. It showed pride, something our defense last year had none of.

So...ULL has still NEVER scored a TD in Tiger Stadium. Priceless.

i agree and a good observation by fried. that whippersnapper has a good sense of history and knows a good effort regardless the opposition.

the same people dismissing it are the ones saying we showed no effort last night. go figure.

Tirk, are you old enough to use the term "whippersnapper"? I didn't take you for a granddaddy who throws out such terms caddywampus.

It was a good moment for the ole stadium. However, during the drive leading up to that goal line stand the crowd was doing the wave. Not into the game at all.

But in all seriousness, it's hard to get excited about playing ULL.

I'm always against the wave. I told everyone not to do it...bad things happen. Maybe now they will listen. :hihi:

Oh it was a great effort and I was very happy to see it.

I am just putting things in perspective. That just can't be a shining moment in TS history.

I'm not propping my grandson on my knee 25 years from now telling him an account of that.

Even when 25 years from now they don't have a touchdown, 100 years after the last one? That's history. This isn't about a national championship, this is about pride, superiority... if this is a low spot for you then I think you need to step back and see what your priorities are as a fan.

A fan is someone who cheers for a team come good or bad... and most LSU fans are either miserable in winning or gloriously depressed in losing.

It's both annoying and really kind of sad. Not saying you're one of those izzie- just saying... that was a great football moment.

I just cannot wrap myself around that thought.
