One Loss SEC team vs Undefeated Ohio State (BCS Talk)

IMO, at this point, it's looking like LSU vs. Florida or Missouri in the SEC Title game, in a possible rematch.

Winner ends up in the Sugar Bowl. Hate to say it, but I don't see how a 1-loss SEC team jumps an unbeaten Ohio State or ACC team. Either way, won't matter next year.

 

The dude on CBS said that there is no way that a one-loss SEC team will trump any of the undefeated AQ teams. That means that even if suck ass OSU sucks .. which they do ... if they are undefeated, the human polls will see to it that the computer does not trump the record.

You would think that twice was enough to show that OSU just isn't in the same league as the SEC top tier teams ... but, it doesn't seem to impact the idiots in the media.

 

So 8 in a row doesn't buy you a spot at the table? Don't you think that if Oregon goes undefeated and Ohio State goes undefeated, and a 1 loss SEC team looks like duck bait, the SEC envy won't have these guys foaming at the mouth to have the streak legitimately snapped by beating an SEC team?

 

Nope .. they'd rather the SEC be excluded from the party all together, so they can say the SEC wasn't BCSNC worthy in the last season of the BCS era.

No one will remember 8 in a row ...but there will be a monument to the one who wins the last BCS.

However, every year it looks like certain teams won't lose--and yet, they do. Happens all the time.

I agree , but I will go one step more . if it is a undefeated Ohio Sate and a undefeated Oregon a undefeated bama will not make it this year . They want the double "O Game" Ohio State vs Oregon . That is the only way they can have one of them win a BCS CG . They are just tired of running their mouth and the SEC just keeps slapping them in their face . I want LSU to help saban make up his mind to go to Texas , even with all the money at texas , Texas A&M will still get enough texans to make it hard for a good coach , you notice I said a good coach , like saban to rebuild that team . He is not a great coach , just a smart man . he has always followed a builder , Bama will lose one or two games this season .
