personally, what I think they have disliked about LSU is their lack of sexiness on offense. that's changed this year, and i hear more and more national pundits jumping on the LSU bandwagon and talking us up. ironically, the real question is whether our defense can get us there. i'm hoping they can, but they have seemed to be slow to mature and gel, but maybe we are just a wee bit impatient, lol.
I think we gained even more respect after the Florida game (see AP Poll as proof of that) because we have gone long past the question of whether we can pass the ball and score in bunches. And even an off game like Florida doesn't have anyone questioning if we can turn that switch back on. So now here comes what looks to be the beginning of a potentially dominating (or at worst "solid") defense to couple itself with the high powered offense. Just about everyone seems to be on board the LSU train. They are expecting us to go into Tuscaloosa with everything on the line for both schools and just as competitive a battle as we had in Death Valley last year.
@islstl we need to go to tuskaloser and dismantle the red menace, I mean a prove a point graduate level ass whoopin. I'm not saying it will happen, but that is what needs to happen.
I liked what I saw out of the backup QB. But more than likely they will struggle to beat the upcoming teams on their schedule without their leader.
