Not sure how I missed this but how great is this.

I read that nearly 50 took him up on it. Faulk, and Robiskie were among them.

Great idea. Former players are your best recruiting tools. Oeaux must have learned this from his time at Tha U, where former players have open access to all team facilities and practice.

 

USC too Pete Carroll did that with regularity.

 

That can also lead to problems too. As in NCAA vio's.

Was this not happening with Miles? Maybe not 50 at once, but I'm sure he's had former Tigers on the sidelines and giving pregame speeches. I do like that O invited them to walk and that so many took him up on it.

Just evidence of more poor decisions.

He also opened it up to alot of celebrities too. I obviously can't say for sure, but I believe this got to be a distraction since USC seemed to lose at least one game a year it had no business losing.
