Looking at the statistics so far, this weeks game against Auburn is going to be a dog fight with the War Chickens probably getting the edge on LSU. We gotta hope that penalties, turnovers, and missed kicks go our way. In the meantime, looking ahead to Ole Miss in two weeks... we should whip their asses! Why, you ask? Because their defense is laughable! Bottom of the SEC in most categories. Something to look forward too
Both teams look almost equal. In a game like this I think you van throw out stats. Home field advantage and the fact that we're banged up some makes me worried about Auburn. Therefore I predict 48-6 LSU !!! LOL
From what we have seen so far including the Miami game there are 5 front sevens on our schedule that will give us trouble: AU Ala Moo U Dawgs aTm All of these schools have played really good d line football in two games. “IF” this is the best o line we can field it doesn’t matter how good Jeaux is, he will get pummeled. I’ve watched all of these teams play and they look further along than us. I’m hoping we gel this week at practice and continue to improve. O line seems to be our weakest link right now. Jeaux did hold the ball too long for a couple of those sacs which I think will get better as game time speed slows for him. Our front has to get stout so SE can be comfortable calling plays. I think we have talent to beat anyone but execution has to be better. We played lazy last week! O needs to get in there ass this week!
I agree with this but there are things we can do to help the line... We have to call quicker developing plays... We just had an example of this on Monday night with the bears and Packers... Rodgers was getting killed in 1st half... Second half, they called quick routes so Rodgers didn't have to wait as long and the OL didn't have to hold their blocks as long...
And what was your prediction for the Battle of the Alamo? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Alamo ... which according to the above link was a turning point as it inspired enlistment of —"both Texas settlers and adventurers from the United States—to join the Texian Army. Buoyed by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the revolution."
