Hey everyone. Me and a friend are big LSU fans, and had the luck of sitting in the LSU cheering section at Omaha last year for the UNC game due to two very nice elderly Tigers. We definitely will be hanging around with the Tiger backers outside the stadium, but would love to sit with our own for the game. Does anyone have any extra tickets they'd be willing to sell in the LSU sections? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Season tickets holders had to submit requests for tickets by 5 p.m. yesterday. The e-mail message said that you must pick up the tickets in Omaha. I'm not sure how many people have been notified as you were able to request tickets for all LSU games or indivdual games. Obviously only one is officially scheduled as of now. You may have to travel to Omaha again then find tickets.

They weren't able to accommodate all the season ticket holders, apparently. My brother in law got an email late yesterday afternoon stating that he didn't get any but they were working on getting some more! Good luck on getting tickets, we're not leaving home until I know for sure we're gonna see the Tigers.... He's had season tickets forever and only wanted 2 for each game they played....Who knows!:dis:

Tell him to go ahead and go. It is not hard to get tickets there.

Definitely make the trip, you are guaranteed to see the Tigers for sure. I've never been shut out of a game at Rosenblatt, and that includes when the Huskers made it. I was only talking about my desire to sit with the LSU cheering section. We will be making the trip, and hopefully tailgating with all of you.

I think most people will have to get tickets there. Just go, its easy to get a ticket. (Just look for the UVA fans on their way home)
