Opps, forgot to add that I am in miami and am in surrounded by cane fans talking smack... So I just sweetly say two words "warren morris" People hate me in florida...I wonder why?
No disrespect to any of my fellow tiger fans but I think the superstition that some people have is a joke. I am a person who believes that everything happens for a reason. I don't believe anything I say or anyone else says can affect the outcome of a game. I believe whatever happens, was meant to happen. I respect everyone's beliefs but aren't we taking superstition a little too far my fellow tiger fans?
I am probably the least superstitious person I know, but I still play along for the sake of those who are. Why would I want to be the guy that people hate because they think I am the reason we lost? Sometime its better just to play along.
"If you believe you're playing well because you're getting laid or because you're not getting laid or because you wore red silk panties--then you are!" -- Crash Davis
one of the most superstitious people i know of is a college baseball coach. he is so superstitious, he wont even use that word. he uses the word "rituals".
I learned about many of the "rituals" when I was at LSU. Under no circumstance was I to touch a players glove and never, ever cross the handles of the bats.
Translation: Almost every woman on this board is highly superstitious and I play along so the chicks like me... Now somebody get me a damn corndog!!!
None taken, I am very superstitious when it comes to sports. The rest of life I believe everything happens for a reason. And we are talking about baseball which next to the captains on the crab boats are the most supertitious people out there. One season for softball I didnt not wash my shirt and shorts for the whole season cause I was hitting a homerun everygame, by the end of the season they could stand up by themsleves in the corner. This board is funny like that though ask Grad about football season and what happens when he doesnt make the gamethread
