Well, we're in bad shape here no matter how you slice it. Let's just hope that CLM has some sort of answer for this.
It is what it is. While they will be young and inexperienced I think expectations should be that they perform well. Likewise the coaching staff should prepare a gameplan and blocking scheme that give them the best chance at success. It is one thing to note such issues but if they are given a crutch of low expectations they will not play as well as possible. It is a rough world and they need to learn to swim or die trying. By now they have had some time to work as a group (this unit has played as noted enough) so that we don't see missed assignments and stupid penalties. If they get beat physically that happens and the learn to get tougher next time. BTW same with Mett and the receivers. Exhibition season is over. It seems most problems have been mental and that should stop NOW!
what if these guys actually do well. Im kinda expecting a surprise out this group, I dont know why either. just a hunch.
