Who? - I'm going to assume you're talking about Shay Hodge. Epic fail. He had an equal number of TD, over 200 fewer yds receiving, and nearly 20 fewer receptions than Lafell. He also had 16 fewer yds/game than Lafell. All that with an infinitely better overall passing game. - Nice try though. I can't believe my fellow Tiger fans let you go with that one for so long. It stuck out to me like a sore thumb, because I knew it was far from accurate. Julio Jones' stats also don't match up to Lafell's. Only AJ Green can boast of having a better year than Lafell...also with an infinitely better passing game.
I would say that most LSU fans feel that the FL and Ole miss game from last year were the two games where we got spanked. However, it was my opinion that the D gave up on the team after the bama OT losss. I would also like to assume that our troubles on blown coverage, etc, where b/c of the double D cord. Its one thing to have good players, its another to ahve a good coach to coach them. Something we lacked last year. I expect LSU's D to be top of the west this year easy.... no reason they shouldnt in my opinion... Also, from the things I have heard and read from the LSU players, I cant see LSU going down to Ole miss/bama/ark this year. I don't think they will allow it. Yea, games could go either way, I just feel they will have that extra edge on those games, even the FL one too.
