That unsportsmanlike conduct on Perk was absolute horseshit. Ended up not mattering because we still forced the punt and scored a TD on our next drive, but damn.
I bet BK is like, “oh damn, LSU is amazing. I’m getting more out of a cobbled together 2022 LSU then I did with perfect alignment at ND.”
Though the scoring was fun, the masterpiece was the defense. As the game progressed they tightened the noose with practically every play. For a change, I was not dreading the next play with our D on the field. I don’t care who you are, or what you are, beating Florida and Mississippi, back to back is pretty damn good. The team is going to end up better than I expected. It’s hard not to look ahead to next year and the year after. Could be scary good! Geaux Tigers!
They scored their only two TDs in their first two drives, but even that second one shouldn’t have happened. Dropped two INTs and extended the drive with a penalty on 4th down.
