Disrespecting the flag is the wrong way to go about it. The response to a stupid act should never be another stupid act.
it's not necessarily being disrespectful to the flag, it can be looked at as pleading/praying to the flag for righteousness mostly, they're just staging a media event
heard some about this and feel bad for the players they knew they would catch heat but also knew that was when it would get the most attention I appreciate their courage but wish anything they would have done it pregame or anytime other than during the anthem but not my call They want to effect change and I applaud that, not necessarily the vehicle they drove to get there
