Bad analogy. They are coming off our schedule, yes. But not because of a series of losses.

FWIW on the comment about the SEC being weak during Vaught's tenure...about 30% of the NC's came from the SEC during that period.

Didn't say it was because of losses. I would imagine it has a lot to do with the other reasons I mentioned. Such as their undeserved lack of respect. Media tends to laugh at you when you win and sadly shake their heads when you win. Yes. OM lost some to them. I believe they lost to them the same year that they emBEARassed Ala. 1970--National tv-night game-Jackson Memorial Stadium...Ala. had the "Italian Stallion." Think his name was Johnny Musso. But the overall record ain't bad. Kind of like LSU/Tulane. Every now and then Tulane won one.

You are exactly right about the NC's during that time period. I was laughing at another poster's view of that time period. Bama, LSU, Ole Miss were the ones to beat. Tenn. sometimes...Fla usually stunk along with MSU, VANDY, KENTUCKY---GA was decent--Auburn--so-so:thumb:

You just verified exactly what that poster posted, Bama,LSU and Ole Myth. Now LSU, Bama, Auburn, Gawga, Tennessee and Florida are all top notch programs. Let's see three then and six now, that's quite a difference.
