Not nearly as bad as it could have been. Ole Miss had already self imposed the 2018 ban and 11 scholarships so all the NCAA did was take away 2 more schollys.
The Main witness, the LB from Miss State lost credibility when the infractions committee found out from him about the supposed LSU offer and the money from the dad of the other MSU teammate.
Thoughts as to any Ole Miss players leaving the program in light of the sanctions? Will LSU make a play for Shea Patterson?
If he leaves, whoever gets him is basically leasing him for a year. He'll probably go pro in 2019. Next season will be his 3rd out of HS. If he wants in and can play right away Oeaux should take him. If he's gotta sit I'd pass. I'm sure Jimbo would take him at TAMU under any circumstance he can get him. The kid is talented. Period. And not a bad person as some tend to think.
I don't know the kid. He gets a lot of bad juju from LSU fans because of his brother. I would love to have him even if it's only for a few but he is a Texas native and Jimbo is the Quarterback Whisperer. He will be an Aggie befofr the ink dries on Jimbo's contract.
