Agreed. I'm definitely not saying we're #4, but as a number #4, we don't get much as far as media is concerned, except for "upset alerts." When/if we lose, we'll follow Ole Miss as overrated, whether or not we actually are.:geaux:
Not to sound like a Ninny boys, but do you think we could use the word "Rape" around here a Little less in relation to football ? I mean the word is horrible, the act itself should get the death penalty and it just doesn't belong in football discussions. Again not to get personal, but I am sure I am not the only one where this horrible act has touched their families lives.....
ole miss isnt that great, the qb had a bad day-- they werent firing on all cylinders -- they had a pretty cushy schedule-- but dont take anything away from SC, they are a good team easily ranked 20-25 easily.
I'm not at all surprised. Preseason, they were a trendy pick, but their early season hurt them. They looked lackluster against Memphis, despite the lopsided final score. Then, they had a week off--so no one talked about them at all. Then, they played SLU, and again no one cared. As they started looking bad Thursday night, Craig James was quick to jump all over them, saying, "I thought they were undeserving of that ranking all along." When we lose, we'll drop like a rock, as well. No one really wants us up there, but they guys in front of us just...keep...losing.
Speaking of disrespect... we beat South Carolina 31-10 on January 1 of this year ( and it wasn't even that close)... and I seriously doubt that they have gotten much better.... but thanks for the homer statement. Forgive me, I'm on an LSU forum and shouldn't even suggest we could beat South Carolina.... Damn, now I have to do repentance... I hate that...
