Yeah as much as I would love to believe LSU can just line up and run I formation 65 times and throw it 18 times I just don't see that as a recipe for victory against a team that is built to play against that style of play. Part of me thinks it's possible because Bama isn't the same Bama on either defensive or offensive line, and LSU I think is better on both fronts, but our lack of ability to move the chains on 3rd down throwing the football is our Achilles heel. It bit us in the ass in our 2 losses, and could very well bite us in the ass next Saturday. I really hope Les sees the opportunity here and that it's not a bad thing to throw in wrinkles, even though you aren't used to it. Saban did it to us last year, and it worked. Maybe we can win using the I formation pound the shit out of them mentality, but we have to shut Cooper down and not turn the ball over, and create turnovers in my opinion to win that way. I think we could dominate if wrinkles were put in.
I don't think Les has any new wrinkles. For a man of 61 in a hugely stressful job he is remarkably wrinkle free.
Les Miles has a secret plan to beat Alabama. He is going to outfit the Tigers in new state of the art helmets that reflect his personal style of innovative offensive playcalling
you're not putting your safety on the best WR in the nation that's not how this works, that's not how any of this works
Yep, if you are going to put anyone mono-ah-mono on him, it would be Robinson. Like against A&M last year.
