Curious at the thoughts as to how successful/unsuccessful LSU will be using the same
offensive game plan against Alabama. What happens if LSU falls behind 14 points or more?

    I don't like it.

Then again, I didn't think it would work against ole miss either.

@LaSalleAve made a great point yesterday about how nick tends to shit his pants when faced with a mobile qb and it isn't just a theory, it is proven.

This however seems to be out of Les' wheelhouse.

I will just wait and see what he does and either post another great win thread or fire up the ol bitchinator again.

if we can maul them upfront like we did the rebs, then we can impose our will and run the ball. if bama is up to the challenge and puts up points, we are in trouble.

i dont know where i stand just yet but i do know we need to shut down cooper to have a chance.

The D has stepped up big time compared to the ineptness they showed vs Moo and Aubie. Keep it up and hold the Tide scoring down until Les's offense somehow manages a score or two and we have a punchers chance.

Is Jamal Adams up to the task? Put him on Cooper and wherever Cooper goes Adams goes

Nah, Adams needs to be free to do what he's been doing. Plus, Sims can move so someone like Adams needs to be there to pop him everytime he moves so he thinks twice about moving the next time.

I actually think our corners can do the job on Cooper, but Cooper is about as close to unstoppable as it gets at that position. He's not really great at any one thing but he's exceptionally good at everything.

Never put a safety on a great WR.

The best way to stop Cooper is to pressure the quarterback.

I thought this thread was going to be about Ole Miss' gamelan vs Bama.

One thing I hope we mimic is using 3 & 4 wideouts when we run it between the tackles.
