This. Snead is a decent qb, but our secondary will be all over this one. I like our shot better this year and I think we win a close one. OM 13, LSU 17. Btw, wasn't LA Tech in the game with a very good Boise St. team until the 4th quarter? Just a question.
I'll give you that... was just hopin the rediculous officiating would've pissed off the Tigers for our tech game. We won, so no biggie really... seems our D has a tendancy to play down to our oppenants... if Ole Miss comes out tough I expect our D to clamp down tight. But our success does rest on our ability to move the ball, something we haven't done well all year.
You know, other than everyone ranked around us in the BCS losing, i think thats the reason LSU didn't move. LSU had a chance to pretty much make the Boise argument go away and die, well, it still lives.
If the same team shows up that we saw against tech it won't matter who the qb is we will lose. I am hoping that is not the case and we will prevail 27-21.
Miles takes the Bull by the tail, and we fight a tight one. LSU - 27 Ole Miss - 20 :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
That's what everyone tried to say about Washington when we barely beat them in the 1st game, and tried to reinforce when they beat USC... now look at them, 2nd to last in the PAC10 with absolutely no hopes for a bowl game. Tech and Washington both have the same crappy 3-7 record in weak conferences. The arguement doesn't hold up any longer. Maybe the reality is teams like the USC/LSU/OU's out there are just down this season. It does happen from time to time.
To give a little credit to UW, the Pac 1 has actually grown this year. They may actually be able to put 5-6 teams in bowls. Granted that growth comes at the benefit of the king Trojans being down, but just saying they are a bit deeper than in years past. Although none of this makes a difference to the fact that UW still isn't a very good team, nor is LaTech.
