That's what i thought about last night after losing the Bama game the way we did. I figured the Tigers would come out and blow them out so bad it wouldn't matter what was called against us... but LSU allowed a very inferior Tech team to sit around, good thing Tech doesn't have that killer instinct.
If JJ plays and the D can contain McCluster, Tigers 27-21. I think it will be a close game. If JJ does not play and the D cannot contain McCluster, I think we'll lose. :geauxtige
Jarret Lee leads LSU to victory and passes for over 287.5 yards. Ridley and Williams team up for 199 yards. and 2 touchdowns. :hihi:. McClusker is suspended for the game after he drives to Chattanooga and menaces Janzen Jackson with a pellet gun for using a prius as a getaway car. .
Seriously, I'm picturing Jarrett Lee as a senior...He's still only played for the equivalent of one season.
LA Tech, despite their record, is a pretty good football team. LSU, despite injuries and horrible QB play, DID NOT LOSE THE GAME. Mostly because the defense kept them in the game. If the Tigers can keep the turnover ratio on the positive side in this one, they win.
I remember what McFadden & Jones did to us when Nutt was at Arkansas. Worried McCluster will do the same. I will be happen to get out of Mississippi with a win any way we can get it. Turnovers we need turnovers to win this game. Two ints. and fumble. LSU 31 - OLE Miss 24.
We need to just let Chad Jones follow McCluster around, and Spy him out. Shut down McCluster, and beat Ole Miss. Snead is not going to be able to torch this secondary, it won't happen.
im amazed people thought this. a huge letdown spot for LSU. In fact I thought we may lose. it played out about like i expected. except for JLee who was worse than imaginable most of the game. of course LSU was going to be dead flat after bama, win or lose. this week is another story but certainly a tough matchup with the injuries. should be a good one.
