Last week all the delusionals had a 'W' circled beside the Ole Miss game, based on our narrow LOSS to Alabama. YIPPEE, we really are still ELITE say the posters! Yesterday that same Ole Miss team pounded an overmatched UT squad who 3 weeks earlier played Alabama a much closer game than the Tigers did. Houston Nutt, along with Saban and Meyer all have 2 game winning streaks against Coach Miles. Anyone betting that Nutt is the first of the bunch to make it 3?

Miles is in a select group of coaches who has won a national championship. He's been recruiting at a top level as long as he's been at LSU.

Nutt couldn't get the job done at Arky, why would anyone think he can get the job done at Ol Miss?

The game shouldn't even be close...

I'm calling for LSU in a lopsided win, unless the officials throw it to Ol Miss.

Nutt has constantly put a good team on the field even with not having the personnel. If you believe the personnel he has had to work with is even remotely as high as LSU I have a bridge to sell you.

With that said, I think the whole wild rebel thing is a little over done. Over all he is a very solid coach but I would not want to see him as LSU coach. It's not LSU football.

    LSU 30, Ole Miss 23

Too bad Ole Miss decided to play their best game of the season the week before facing us.

PS - That's if Jefferson plays the entire game.

Its kinda like walking thru a graveyard at midnight... There is always that feeling that you should look behind you to see whats back there... LSU is bruised & beaten & Luck may have run out on the Tigers. I just can't make myself pick against the tigers but you can be sure I am not betting the house note on them.. Count me as being Scared of them Rebels!!!:geauxtige

Every 7 or 8 years Mississippi fields a pretty good football team, then they go back to the SEC second tier again. This is a good year for Ole Myth, but not a great year. I wish we weren't playing at their place, I wish we didn't have 4 starters hurt, but LSU can beat Ole Miss.

If the Tiger team we saw last night shows up in Oxford Saturday I don't see how we leave Cxford with a W.

    That's the thing.

You won't see that team play this Saturday.

You're gonna see a team that is pissed off. And Ole Miss is gonna be their bitch.

With top players back Saturday, LSU should be able to pull it out but it is likely to be a close game. I believe LSU's game-face will be on and they will play with a better attitude than they did against LT.
