I think blue gets lots of playing time here. That would allow ware and ford rest. They will play but blue will get a fair amount of snaps. The freshman , hilliard, will be our starting fullback in the future. He's a beast.
Our running backs are going to have a field day out there against Ole Miss. I say we have two one hundred plus runners this weekend. Plus, 300 yards rushing total.
Good tune-up gamke for LSU's o-line....come off and punsh them in the mouth all game....then go over the top a few times to Reuben Randle.....I would say Russel Sheppard also.....but he cant seem to catch the deep ball to save his life!!! So it's short slants and screens for him!
I agree, Ware will get his 10-12 carries in the 1st quarter and that should be it. I think by the start of the 4th we will be seeing only McGee, Hilliard and Gore. My prediction for the carry distribution: Blue 14 Ware 10 Ford 7 McGee 9 Hilliard 6 Gore 3
Doesn't seem like Ware is the one that needs to rest. Dude has barely been used the past 2 games. If anything, I'd say he needs more reps.
sometimes I wonder if Les just lets them draw straws for who gets the most carries in each game. Seems like that would be fair, and there wouldn't be a substantial drop off no matter who won.
