This is an awesome video and worthy of some discussion in FSA 86-year-old veteran sniper still has perfect aim. [VIDEO]
I like the way the instructor put it "A 5 inch group at a thousand yards, its...impossible". Those guys are amazing. To think that that man could still do it, with the things he must have seen when he was doing it for real so long ago, is amazing. My great uncle died last year, and to the day he died, he still could not talk about the things he saw. Even though he was only 60 miles from the war museum in New Orleans, my dad could never get him to go.
Reminds me of the slingshot guy... only with a rifle. My grandfather was like that until the day he died. He could shoot as accurately as his vision and steady hands would let him. His vision was perfect, and his hands were rock solid so if he took aim on you, it means you shouldn't run in a straight line.. lol
i think i have told this story before, but this thread makes it worth repeating. my late uncle was in his 80's when one night just as he was about to fall asleep, heard a vehicle in his driveway. he peeked out the window and saw a strange vehicle. he grabbed his shot gun and crept down the hall and came around the corner just as his back door was being kicked in. in the dark his aim was a bit high and he blew away the kitchen light fixture right over the door. but it wasnt just a couple of seconds later that he heard the tires squealing as the vehicle raced out of his driveway. i am pretty sure there was a brown trail to the car. i guess someone learned old men living alone arent always an easy target.
Like sabanfan said it's the old guys that you gotta worry about. When Viagra doesn't even work anymore they get real mean real quick.
old men dont fight long. because they dont have to. that is sick. how can a dude that old control his ****ing breathing long enough to make the shot. the shot is impressive but the grouping is over the top insane. i love the way hes humble as **** and nervous @ 86 after seeing everything there is to see in life. i love this dude.
