Per chance it bothers people that we're unusually close to being 7-5.

I have not seen any posts so far, well besides one, that is calling for CLM's firing. These are head Coach projections should he leave. Im not calling for his firing either, but for the last three years I still have not been totally sold on his head coaching abilities.

Yeah! We need to bring back the good ole days of Gerry DiNardo and Curly Hallman.

That freaking Matt "Damon" Flynn is no damn good either! We need a Robie Mahfouz to take this team to a championship.

Jacob Hester couldn't run out of a paper bag like Jermaine Sharpe.

And while we are at it let's dig up Charlie Mac and fire him again, because all he ever did was put us in the Top Ten on a regular basis for two decades and lose to Bear Bryant just like 1783 other college coaches did.

Dammit, if we don't win the National Championship EVERY year let's just tear down the stadium.

Hey bandwagon dude, the Patriots bus rolls by the stop in ten minutes. Maybe you can jump on it until they lose a game and then stab Tom Brady in the neck on your way off to a Dallas or Indianapolis or Green Bay bus stop.

oh no, i did not say "firing" - I promise you could start a poll right now asking posters here if they want Miles to take the UM gig or stay, and more then 60% would want him gone now.....all after losing one game. Granted it was a big game to lose, but like NLMD said, we have been living on the edge of 7-5 all year and things went our way - tonight it didn't. I am super p!ssed about that, don't get me wrong, but I am not ready to put the For Sale signs up at Les' house just yet.

I would settle with 11-1...Too bad it's not like that...10-2 is no reason to bash the coach...Why can't we be like ND fans...They're 2-9 and in love with their coach.

    Yep, very true.

It would be different if we were winning by less-than-vomit-inducing margins every once in a while. Then, an occassional loss wouldn't seem so bad, since it would seem like an anomaly. Such is not the case here.

    Re: BO PELINI

Chevis Jackson and Jonathan Zenon will both be drafted. They don't have coverage problems. They have problems covering for a half hour on any given play.

I would prefer Spurrier or Rodriguez. We certainly want someone who has been very successful as a head coach. But I for one hope it does not come to that.

    Re: BO....ROKE PELINI

Arky's O-line are all 6'2" or taller and weight 320lbs or more. This is a huge O-line, even a great D-line is going to struggle with that especially if they are doubling a hurt Glenn Dorsey(when he was in the game).

In OT, 4th and 10, McFadden is in the backfield "writing a novel" waiting for someone to block and no one ever came. And Dick still found a wide open Hillis. That was plain disgusting.
