Re: Officially had it with CLM

I suspect on the USC forums the fans are calling for Pete Carroll to be fired. I heard some of his press conference today and he said the #1 priority every year is to win the conference championship and go to the Rose Bowl. He said the BCS is a big mess and is out of the teams control. He said if they win the Pac 10 and are slotted for the NC game instead of the Rose Bowl that is great, but it is not something the team is concerned with because they have no control over the BCS.

He can play at Plantation on the Westbank. (FYI, it needs mowing, closed for years, after being rated the worse golf course in the country by a very unfriendly golf book).

What about Phil Bennett? SMU aside, all of his stops as DC at LSU, A&M,
K-State he had consistantly highly ranked defenses. And I know he is probably looking for a job right about now. Just a thought.

    Re: BO PELINI

The Bo to Nebraska talk has cooled somewhat here. What I'm hearing is Pelini may not be polished enough or a good enough recruiter to be a head coach. Is it still going strong in Cajan Country?

    Why?

He is exactly right. All coaches and players can only focus on what is in their own control. #1 priority is to win your conference and let everything else fall into place.

    Re: BO PELINI

Exactly what a few others and I said on here when the rumors started. That is the main reason LSU would not bump him up to HC if Miles leaves along with HC expierence.

He hates to recruit from what I hear and hates talking with the media.
