    Re: Pelini contacted by Nebraska

Would you rather have a coach who allowed 610 yards to Ball State on your home field (9/22/07)?
Or how about Oklahoma State running up almost 400 yards in the FIRST HALF (10/13/07)?

450 yards allowed in any game would be an enormous improvement over what the Huskers had under the Callahan/Cosgrove love fest.

Maybe Bo knows something you guys don't. If you blitz, and McFadden finds the hole, which he did all day, then it is a TD.

If we lose all our coaches, and lose 3 or 4 games next year, some of you will be on here complaining because we didn't offer the old coaches enough money to stay.

Let it go people. We are playing in the SECCG and have a shot to win our fourth Sugar Bowl in 7 years. Support our Tigers. I sure hope no possible recruits read this board!

You don't have to blitz every series... just pick your spots.

What was so frustrating last night was the fact that late in the game Dick only came in for two reasons. It was either a short yardage situation and they needed to take a snap from under center or it was a passing situation. You can not possibly give a single good reason for not blitzing when it was a passing situation and Dick was in the lineup in the 4th quarter and overtime.

Why would you just sit back and let a below average QB pick you apart?

Would have been hard for him to do that from the bench, cause thats where he was when we let Dick complete the 4th and 10.

Send him packin' He obviously is thinking ahead to the HC job and not taking care of business. There is no reason, NO reason whatsoever that LSU should lose to an unranked team at the end of the season. NO EXCUSES

    Re: BO PELINI

I love the excuses here, the hype, the expectations, blah, blah. Watch the games againsnt Va Tech and Miss St. LSU was extremely aggressive on D. Each week afterwards we became more and more conservative on D. The last two weeks have been inexcusable. Pelini makes ZERO adjustments. I do agree the players have been a bit flat, outside of Dorsey the DL has been very overrated. Still, its the coaches job to have the players ready to play or find a replacement. Jones should be in the game over McCray for one small example. Bama killed us on McCray, yet no adjustments. Thats the COACH not the PLAYER. Ole Miss ran all over us, no adjustments. Arkansas killed us because we didnt stack the line on running downs and we didnt have any penetration. With a sub par QB we never blitzed on obvious passing downs. Our DL gets dominated on every down, we need to do something to get penetration to help out the DBs who have to guard a man all day. Face it, this season the coaching has been the worse its been in years. The Miles tenure has been great, but this year I really question a lot of tactics.

And they'd be right, to a degree. It's not like they all won it in their first 3 years...or have repeat NC's. Miles hasn't been here 3 years yet. You don't run off a coach with a 32-6 record in 3 years just because he didn't win a championship.

    Re: New Head Coach

This is Miles' 7th year as a head coach.
Only Stoops and Carroll out of those guys mentioned won one in less time than that.
