    Re: BO PELINI

I just heard this. Tom Osborne has been trying all morning to contact Pelini and keeps getting his voice mail which keeps repeating:

If we blitz on 4th and 10
    We win

If we blitz on 4th and 10
    We win

If we blitz on 4th and 10
    We win

I would rather a qb beat me with people in his face as opposed to giving him all day to throw. That's just me.

Everyone knows that was Saban's defense.

    Re: BO PELINI

One thing that baffled me is for the first and second seasons of Pellini at LSU, fans considered him as THE MAN on the defense. But this season, criticisms on Pellini started to pile up esp. towards the last few games. I know results tend to speak for themselves. However, he is still the same guy, with the main variables being the players.

I still think the banged up defense had a lot to do with it. With Pellini's defense being "bend but not break", the injuries finally broke the camel's back.:(

    Re: New Head Coach

ummm.... does anyone really think the Michigan folks will want Miles after what happened yesterday? There was already doubts that he was winning in spite of himself. The lack of game to game improvement this year really stood out. Coming out flat to start the first half on Senior Day in front of a national TV audience is inexcusable. Shortcomings in time management, in vulgar display at the end of the 4th quarter, will keep Les in Baton Rouge for the forseeable future.

With 25 seniors leaving and a career .550 coach at the helm, I think our only hope is that we're able to attract some top-notch assistants. We should also pray to to the Lord Almighty that (insert QB name here) blossoms next year. Les stole a page out of Charlie Weis QB development manual by playing Flynn almost exclusively. Of course, when La Tech and Tulane play you tough in the first half what choice do you have. :angryfire

I can't tell you how many times that thought has crossed my mind in the last 16 hours.
