Did Jesuit's Principal, Mike Giambaluca, play at LSU?

My bad, I was thinking of John and Nick Hazard. John Hazard was a classmate of Mike Giambaluca's (both graduated a year after I did).

    Okay...
How in the hell is this kid rated a 3 Star by anyone.
    4 star at least.
    Pushing a 5 IMHO.

Go to LSU team site at Rivals and check out the 5 minutes worth of footage they just posted.

Feist, Davis, Jones, Phillips, are deserving of 5* ratings in my opinion. Granier's film looks decent but doesn't wow me. Louis is definitely deserving of his 4* due to his overall athleticism. Dude is a hell of a ball carrier as well.

If all of these guys take care of their class work, we our set for some years.

    All four of these guys

    My oh my, oh my!!!

I've never seen the guy but the fact that you're so jacked up about him makes me happy.

Yes, I'm drunk. Happy new year bitches.

I'd be surprised if Granier steps on even the practice field at LSU, unfortunately. It's likely (IMO) that his knees are gonna keep him from playing at this level. I'm hoping there's some way the staff can honor his scholly, or maybe offer him a gray shirt to have a year off to rehab and try to make a come back.

One advantage of early committ is that the school will tell the "reccruit" they are part of the family. If the recruit gets injuried his Senior year school will still honor financial support for education and player will not count against the 25 or 85. In this case I see LSU standing by offer because it's the right thing to do and from a practical manner we are talking about a in state recruit and you want to do the right thing to keep the High School Coaches in your corner.

That's basically what I was saying, but it's not so cut and dry that he won't count against the numbers. And as harsh as it may sound, if he isn't able to play, I wouldn't want him to count against the 25/85. That's why I mentioned the grayshirt possibility. Now if it's a case where he won't ever be able to play, there's a remedy for that. Delvin Breaux...remember him? He never played, and yet he (to my knowledge) was able to go to school for free.

BHelm probably knows more about that than me, though...

Basically can throw a medical hardship waiver on the recruit and not count against the numbers while still honoring the scholarship.

Mother of God, check out Jones' highlights that they posted on his LSU bio (click "play video" in the top right).

Deion Jones Bio - LSUsports.net - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics

RUTHLESS. look at that acceleration & closing speed: are you kidding me???? you can see why ESPN wrote that he is a "heat seeking missile from the linebacker position"

how are his rankings so low?

    ESPN: #24 ILB, 3-star
    247: #27 OLB, 4-star, #226 on the Top 247
    Rivals: #31 OLB, 3-star
    Scout: #84 OLB, 3-star

Landon Collins might be the best prospect in Louisiana when it comes to potential, but when it comes down to actual production, Deion "Debo" Jones was ranked higher by the LSWA: Jones was named the LSWA Class 5A Outstanding Defensive Player over Collins ... Jones had 179 tackles, eight sacks, five forced fumbles, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries this last season
