I don't hear a lot of chatter about Luther this summer. I wonder what is going on with him. I know he had issues last year with being away from home. Didn't he have brothers that signed with schools and then transfered to others closer to home?

Luther is still at Bama, the word is he has settled in and is feeling better about being there and is "working hard" hoping to play some this season.

"Hi, I'm Josh Williford, my favorite foods are pasta, steak, defensive ends, and linebackers for a light snack."

He gets my vote for meanest look. Welcome Josh!

He already benches 385 LB.s--not bad for someone who hasn't started their senior season. I think he will be fine at OG. I believe that is the key. Whenever you get a really big and tall recruit everyone wants to project him at OT. This doesn't always pan out because they are too slow to protect against speedy rushers around the end and are exposed when left out in space. I think we intend to use him just like Big Herman. With both past and recent dismisals from the OL this guy also seems to have little character or grade risk. He is a great student and plans to attend vet school.

This has been a pretty good week. And next week should be even better.
