6'7" 345 OT from Dothan Houston Academy out of Alabama says LSU and Ole Miss are his 2 favorites right now.

LSU coaching staff says he can be the next Herman Johnson.

    Re: Josh Williford

He is a one star on scout and I can't find him on rivals. An article said Miles offered him in his office after the camp. He doesn't have an offer from Bama or Auburn. Reading between the lines I think he will go to
Bama if they offer him. Even though they haven't offered him, he lists them in his favorite 3, along with Ole Piss and us and says how Bama's close proximity would allow family to see him play, etc. He likes that Ole Miss is small in size. He favors our Veterinarian program. Does anyone know if Bama is limited or full for their OL recruiting? He said he grew up a Tennessee fan so they may have a chance if they offer him I guess. He played on the DL before last year, and then ran a zone blocking scheme. His comments about how both Miles and Ole Miss's coaches said he bent his knees well and had good "punch" seems like his technique is solid.
CParso do you have the dope on this guy? Would we take him?

I see Bama has 3 OL verbals currently. All are from Georgia. There are no OL from the state of Alabama listed in rivals top 250 unless I missed someone.

    Re: Josh Williford

1* just means he has not been evaluated yet. Other schools have jumped on him after his steller performance at the LSU camp and LSU coaches showing interest.

Not sure if he ends up a take for LSU and time will tell. We have to see how of OL class shakes out and his senior year performance.

Vet school seems to be one of his main concerns and that could hurt Bama if they are strongly interested in him down the road because they do not have a Vet school. He will be down to LSU soon checking out our Vet school.

I doubt he gets an Alabama offer since DJ Fluker is likely a tackle. I am pretty sure he was in Tuscaloosa last week so if he doesn't have an offer now he likely wont unless they whiff on all other targets.

Bama passed on Josh. He'll be an LSU Bengal Tiger and go to Vet School.

Strong possibility we pass on him as well. We still have our eyes on some top OL prospects like Filo, Nixon, Lowe, etc... LSU will only take one more OL in this class.
