Here ia a LA kid I really want. He has not been offered because of his grades but that seems to be changing quickly. In the end it looks like he will make it with the grades he is pulling in this semester and the 4pt increase in his ACT score.

Other teams who were worried are not anymore. He got 3 offers this week from Michigan, Nebraska, and Arkansas.

Coach Stud will be evaluating him on Tuesday and I am pretty sure he will get an offer then.

LSU is in the lead and I think by a big margin but that might not be the case if we wait much longer.

“I was so excited when I told coach Miles that I kind of started to tear up but I didn’t want coach Miles to see,” Faulk said with a laugh. “It was very emotional and this is probably the best day of my life right now.”

THIS IS THE KIND OF PERSON YOU WANT SUITING UP FOR LSU! HE BLEEDS PURPLE AND GOLD.

“I met with my counselor yesterday and my core GPA is a 2.3 and I have a 16 on the ACT,” he said. “I’m taking some classes in summer school that will raise it even more and I’ll be taking the ACT again, too, to get that up.”

    Nice!!!

I knew he the offer would be in soon enough with him getting interest from other schools and his grade progress. You could tell in his last update that he really wanted to come here and his coach was playing a little hardball to get him the offer sooner rather than later.

I would've thought this would have garnered more excitement than it has so far in the forum...but with baseball doing what it's doing, recruiting now takes a back seat I guess. It's nice to have the distraction of baseball, but I'm pretty psyched about Faulk...great pickup!:geaux:

I think this kid will be a stud tackle come his junior and senior seasons.

It's because rivals is owned by LSU alumni.
