We don't have enough footballs to go around in a game of this magnitude to give Hilliard any significant carries. Would be surprised if he gets any carries other that short yardage, and he may not even get that.

You go with what got you there. Rule of thumb. Ware, Ford and some Blue.

I agree. And I mean no disrespect to the rest of our tailbacks, because they are ALL great, but Hilliard is NFL material. By the time he is done here at LSU he will be one of the best backs we have ever seen. I thoroughly enjoy watching him run the ball.

I agree with lasalle. Taylor will be a major player in stopping the bama run game. Taylor will have to help back up our linebackers.

Lee will have to have the game of his season this week. He will have to make bama pay for stacking the box. If he makes them play the pass, we run well. If he can't make them pay in the passing game, jj may be the only way we get rushing yardage.

This game may be a fieldgoal game. It's gonna be hard to get touchdowns so we better not miss a single fieldgoal.

Mo needs to do a good job returning kicks. Field position is critical.

Offense: J. Lee *Because his play throwing the ball will be the difference in this one
Defense: Big Sam *We will contain the run, but his pressure on McCarron is key
Special Teams: ODBjr *We will need some solid returns from him on Sat

Offense - AJ McCarron - He is going to have a great game, with AT least two TD's.

Defense - Dont'a Hightower - LSU is going to ATTEMPT to run the power football game between the tackles, and get shut down by him all day long.

Special Teams - Marqius Maze - He will have some MAJOR yards with the kick/punt return game.

Don't forget the INT and the fumble as well.

Yeah, pretty bold... I've been looking at this game very closely for the past two weeks, and have crunched a lot of numbers... I am feeling pretty good about this...

I dont see Hilliard being our main ball carrier but Id have him #2 behind Ware. Hilliard was very impressive with his power running. He doesnt have a lot of elusiveness but cuts well and runs with a lot of power. Since we dont have a real speed back outside of Shep we need to go with power. I think Hilliard is a better option in this game than Ford or Blue.
