I agree. We may even be able to lose one or even two more games and not really change our bowl opportunities.

Given the state of the rest of the conference, we pretty much have the "third best team" title all to our selves. I'd hate to see us drop a game from here, but even if we do, you're right, we'll still be the top choice for a 2nd tier bowl.

Anything but the Outhouse Bowl! That's the only one I never request tickets for. They will pick a weak East team over a strong West team and I hope LSU NEVER accepts an invite with them.

From this point on I don't think the rankings make much of a difference. The bowls want to make money...OR they have a tie in with a particular team (old buddy relationships) which will determine who goes where.

It's just sad to see Alabama and Florida playing for the SEC because we are weak at QB. I really hope JJ can move the offense next year...AND PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE learn how the play the option or leave it out of our playbook!

I hope the SEC Championship is another horribly officiated game so the national audience can see this BS. These guys need to be fired!

DID you not see JJ play the OPTION PERFECT?

I just dont understand some of yall.

Really, the game was in LSU's hands even with the bad calls until all our key players got hurt.

Was D perfect? No but good enough.

Was O perfect, No But Driving.

I just hope that it's the cotton bowl since all of the BCS bowls are out. Not only will a big 12 team most likely provide the best matchup, I might actually be able to go the bowl game if it's the cotton bowl.

And what I hate most about most Negative Nancy's is that they also never have the balls to show up when the team is playing well.

Yes...I saw it run well twice. Repeat twice. What does that make us for the year? 2 for 50? I also saw it not look so good in the first half. Normally it leaves us with a 2nd and LONGGGGGG!

Do we use the Tight End? Do we stretch the field? I just hoped the offense would be better this year. I still hope JJ turns out to be a great QB but right now he's not. He's the best we have though. Hopefully these last few games and another spring will make this a great offense.

We haven't been able to score all season. We have far too much talent to continuously go three and out. Like it or not...that starts at QB.

RS doesn't appear to understand the plays well enough yet either. If they both mature this offseason...watch out. We have great receivers but can't get the ball to them. This team could go from struggling on offense to leading the SEC in scoring next season.

What's the negative?...saying we're weak at QB? We lost RP due to his attitude, etc. and it came at a horrible time as he was trained to become the starter. That forced us to start three QBs last year with NO experience. JJ didn't play until the end of the season. That doesn't make him a bad QB...but it does make him an inexperienced one.

He came in as the starter this year and has improved but obviously isn't going to be one of these QBs who can come right in and make a difference. That's not negative...that's reality. I can see potential in him and truly hopes he can become a great one but right now it's one of a few weaknesses on this team.

Our secondary is much better this year and the overall defense looks much better. Now we need the offense to move the ball. Like it or not...that starts with the QB. I'm not suggesting we pull him but to say it's not a concern is foolish.

Can we not discuss the team's strengths and weaknesses without someone losing it? Chill!

It's blinders bro. They have selective memories. Some people forget that Ridley was 5 yards past the line of srimmage when the whistle blew and the flag came out on 4th and 1. Some people forget that a HUUUGE hole was opened up for CS to sacrifice his body before being done for the day. But mostly just dramatics because they can't take ribbing from rivals.
