Did you miss your meds? What NCAA violations? There are many reasons to feel uneasy about CLM but get real.Evaluate his attributes with reason not emotion.
    His positives
    1) he has the loyalty of his players. Did you listen to JL's interview on WWL? They play hard for him. He could not recruit as well as he does if the players did not respect and like him.
    2) He has recruited well and cleanly. His efforts in recruiting are top 5 every year. He recruits cleanly. No whiff of scandal.
    3) He will adjust his staff. Where are the twin DCs, and how many assts have been canned? He is not too proud to make adjustments usually. Crowton & Studs are the exceptions.
    4) He has adjusted his use of players. This year he has recognized that he needs the best atheletes on the field no matter what thier experiance or seniority.
    5) He will do what he needs to make changes for sucess. This flexibilty is critical over a long term. Look at Bear Bryant. He pushed to intergrate the SEC, and switched to the Wishbone when he needed to.

    His negatives
    1) Clock management nuff said has lost us at least one game and almost several others.
    2) Loyalty to Crowton see above. My guess it is to have only 1 OC & QB coach for JJ & JL. A big mistake in my book.
    3) Poor TV interview.
    4) On field discipline and not being able to eliminate foolish penalties. The players deserve fault for each individual mistake but CLM has final responsibility.

Less is no Nick Saban but neither is Urban Meyer, Mack Brown or many others. I would rather him than Mark Richt, Houston Nutt, Petrino, Spurrier, He does deserve the critisim but not the hate and by NO Means to be fired.
Be careful what you ask for because as we learned after Charly Mac finding a viable replacement can be a 20 year trail of tears. Same thing for replacing Switzer at OK, Robinson at USC, and even Holtz at ND.

Continue to delude yourself. I lost faith last night.

and I guess you didn't hear that we are under investigation for a pay to play scheme.

Many good points on this thread. I am not sure what the right solution is, but I do know this, something HAS to change in the coaching side of the offense proto. Whether Alleva or CLM would actually fire CGC, or CGC moves down and Ensminger up (not sure that is a great solution, but it is something), or Gonzales takes over as interim for the remainder of the season, something needs to happen now. We continue to waste offensive talent, make idiotic strategic decisions on that side of the ball, and will be at risk for jeopardizing an outstanding season if someone does not act now.

Miles , in my opinion, gives crowton the keys to the o like he gives the d to chief. Miles doesn't watch the clock because that's what he feels he pays crowton for. He needs to take the game back from crowton. He is trusting this o to a person who will only bring the house down. IMO miles stays crowton goes today. New season starts today with new qb starting and a new ,fresh start on o. But be realistic we had the best stats on o this season. Keep lee throwing high % passes and pound them with ridley. Pro style smash mouth football with quick short passes like lee started with and the long ball when we get the right match ups. Nothing fancy just keep chains moving. Get rid of crowton and turn a new page. Miles needs to man up and earn his millions. He may have taken the first step last night with playing jl

I remember when I actually liked Miles. He coached with fire and found ways to win. Over the past 2 or 3 seasons, the O has gotten ultra conservative and way too predictable. Now Coach Miles paces the sidelines with zero emotion. What happened?

Let's see Miles fired Macarthy, isn't implicated yetyou say it is a scandal worthy of being compared to UNC and everyone's darling Butch Davis. Or is it like Regie Bush and USC? Are you saying that? We may see some penalty but even the article makes clear Miles had no part in it. This is out of patern for Miles and no one else has had anything but praise for the way CLM recruits and runs a clean program. That is a smear in my view.
