I've been up in that area on vacation (playing golf). App St. campus is on of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

You really can't go wrong with any 3 of the boudin shops in Scott, Don's, Billy's or Best Stop.

@N.C.Tiger, I feel your pain. We moved from south Louisiana to west Tennessee and I miss the food something terrible. It's the only thing I don't like about the area. I'm in Houma on a visit this week so I'm trying to load up and get my fill. I have found a place about an hour from me that gets live crawfish from the Lafayette area during the season. He only gets so many sacks just on the weekend and if you tell him early in the week he will pick up other seafood too. At least during crawfish season I can make due.

Funny how my guy keeps taking home the bling every year after winning the contest. Y'all need to get your guy to pony up.

I like the one in Krotz Springs A LOT. Think it's Billy's.

I'm not a one boudin man. Changing it up sometimes is good, as long as the boudin is. Kinda like if you eat rib eyes all the time a hamburger is something you may look forward to.

You guys like your boudin with more meat or a balanced blend of rice and meat?
