Don't use up all of your disdain. There's one more trophy we need to collect before you become completely indignant.
1)suh 2) gerhart 3)mccoy 4) ingram 5) tebow so is gino toretta a worse heisman winner or ingram.....discuss.
Feeling really good about the pity Heisman? The fact that bama didn't have a Heisman seemed to be a bigger story than why Ingram deserved one. It certainly proved more relevant.
Aside from Tebow, any of the other finalists deserved it. Congrats to Ingram, he had an amazing year and was instrumental in helping the Crimson Tide get to the BCS title game.
With my AU\bama bias on the side: As Saban said in the interview after the SECCG, "He is one of the best players on one of the best teams". I do not know that he would win the MVP award for his team. That should probably go to Ro. Ingram is a very good back, but I would argue that Gerhart did more with less around him, as well as C.J. Spiller. Suh, however, if you look at impact was clearly the best player. Unfortunately the Heisman has historically been an offensive award.
